The artist
Kris Barnas is a Perth-based tattoo artist specialising in black & grey realism — a craft he has refined over more than 25 years across 18 countries. He is a resident artist at Elysian Tattoo Co in Fremantle.
In 2015, Kris set the Guinness World Record for the longest tattoo session, tattooing for 56 hours and 30 minutes straight at Modern Ink, Fremantle — completing 11 tattoos and raising money for charity CanTeen along the way.
